Double Coupons Week

Kmart is running a Double Coupon Special this week!! All manufacturer's coupons up to .99 cents are doubled this week only at KMART.

Wishy Washy

So okay.....We have a 15 year old washing machine. It was my grandmothers and she purchased it brand new I think in 1996 along with a matching dryer that gave out on us 3 years ago.  It is finally on it's last spin.

Until recently if I try to wash our bedspread in there it will not click over to the wash cycle. It just runs water and drains until I have to manually move the dial to the wash cycle.  Well yesterday I did LOADS of laundry and didn't have any trouble. Even the bedspread. So last night I stuck a load of laudry in there, started her up, and went to bed. Hubs woke up this A.M. to find it had run all NIGHT LONG. Uhhhh, our water bill is going to be terrible.

Consignment Shopping

It seems like there are tons of consignment sales in the month of March. I went to one last weekend but didn't get much....well I did get a Little People's School House for Allie's birthday. It was brand new and I think I remember seeing it at Toys R Us over Christmas for $15 and I got it for $4.  Then today I went to the Polka Dot Door's annual consignment sale and got ALL of Allie's Spring/Summer clothes.  They had the CUTEST little girl clothes I actually had to put some clothes back b/c I started to add them up and it was getting out of hand. But she is set until Fall. Now I just need shoes. Her little feet are so fat that shoes are hard to fit her. Maybe they will "thin" out when she starts walking? Who knows.

There is another Consignment sale going on at the end of the month called Duck Duck Goose. I've seen it advertised several places recently.

Stressing

Well....it's been a week so I thought I would update everyone on the fam.  We have been battling ear infections, cough, runny noses, and watery eyes. Poor little girl just has a hard time getting better. It just seems like a roller coaster of sickness since January. Not sure what else I can be doing. I spray the house down with Lysol, wash her sheets (in hot water), wash her "washable" toys and try to keep my hands clean and free of germs. I hope this isn't the beginning of something like constant ear infections that everyone has been warning us about.
On a lighter note, we got a new vehicle. Got rid of our gas guzzling Silverado and got a mid-size SUV with better gas mileage. I offered to give up my CRV for an el cheapo car but that wasn't suitable, I guess. haha~! \
And speaking of gas.....what the heck is up with $3.49 a gallon? That is frickin ridiculous. Please tell me that prices will at least see a drop soon.

Still not crawlng

Currently we have/can:
5 teeth and 1 on the way (any day now)
a head full of hair but still not enough to really do anything with (it looks like she has a wig on sometimes)
two words...."uh oh oh oh" and "dadada" (if you count those as words)
can wave and clap
drink from a sippy cup with a straw
and........(drumroll please)......do The Worm!!!

Yes, my little girl can do the worm. I should video tape it and post it on here. She literally "wormed" her way from the living room to the hallway bathroom tonight when she heard her bath water running.
I should sign her up for a talent contest b/c I bet there aren't too many babies out there that can master the dance.
