Update!!!!!

Gosh its been almost 20 days since I last updated.  We have been busy planning the birthday party. She will be 1 on Thursday this week. Sniff Sniff.  However we have been celebrating all week.  On Saturday, we went to our first Easter Egg hunt and she did okay but then gave her eggs to her friend Spencer. I thought that was sweet, she is already a loving and giving person.  Then on Sunday we went to church for Easter in which she cried the whole time. They almost had to call us from the service to the nursery but I had a hunch something was wrong so I sent Chris to check on her and he never came back. He said he could hear her crying from the time he left the sanctuary until he picked her up. Then on her actual birthday I am taking off work to spend the day with her. Hopefully, she will start to feel better. I just got back from the doctor's office and she has a sinus infection. She's been sneezing, coughing and runny nose for at least 5 days now and I couldn't take it any longer. So we are on another round of antibiotics. Poor little thing, every times she sneezes it looks like she is headbanging. HaHa!

Okay I am trying to plan Allie's birthday party and I want it to be OWL THEMED. Any decor suggestion or ideas?

Hello everyone!
Been working really hard on trying to get everything done. Spring Break was really cut short for me b/c I went with Chris to Atlanta Saturday-Monday so I didn't get any "at-home" work done! But the curtains are being made and the front door is being painted. I've already applied 2 coats and a third needs to go on there but I have to do it when Allie is not around b/c I don't want her to crawl around wet paint. My mom has been helping me with the curtains. Literally it took us all day to get 75% of them done. They are long panels with insulation. But the one window that is complete looks fantastic and hopefully it will cool the house off better during the upcoming summer months. Last summer Allie was just a itty bitty baby and we pretty much hung out in the living room during my maternity leave b/c we didn't want to wake Daddy during the day and it was HOT in that part of the house. We have no shade in our backyard and the sun goes down in the back yard. Also getting things ready for a yard sale is a JOB!!! Im going through closets, boxes, underneath beds, you name it. And I am getting a hefty stockpile in the spare bedroom for the yard sale. Not sure when it will be but we NEED one badly!!!
Okay sorry to ramble. Hope you all are having a GREAT day!!!

Spring Break!!!!!!

Yay!!! It's Spring Break, finally!!! But I have lots of work to do. I am "remodeling" my front porch. Haha! I know you probably think that is crazy but it needs face lift. I will post before/after pics at the end of next week. Here is my "home" to-do list for Spring Break.................I won't bore you with my school to-do list.

Get flowers pots out of garage and clean up
Buy doormat
Finish making pillows
Buy fabric
Make curtains for living room
Paint front door
Plant gerainiums
Finish making wreath
Plan Allie's birthday party
Get a tan
Get a pedi (use gift card from V-day)
Finish KTIP.................
Have Allie's easter/birthday pics made
Grocery shopping
Clean out closets for yard sale

So as you can tell this is not really a "break"..............but I think I will enjoy completing SOME of the items on this list.
