Fall Break

Ahhh....Fall Break.....not really. I have so much to do its not even funny. I don't think I will ever be able to relax. It's 12:30am on Oct 4, 2011. This is the 5th night in a row that I have stayed up WAY past my bedtime. Last Friday night I went to the HS football game....alone...no baby/husband...its was great! Then I chaperonned (sp?) the Homecoming dance in which I didn't leave until midnight then drove 20 minutes home. The next morning and all through the day I felt like I had a hang over. It must have been a wild day or something b/c I really could not hold my head up. At one point, I put on Mickey Mouse, shut all the doors in the house and blocked the enterance to the kitchen and slept on the couch while lil Sugar Biscuit watched TV. Hubs was at work and no sitter to be found. Ahhhh! I did feel better 2 days later!

So once I gained conscience back I decided to do a little project I had been wanting to do.  See pic below. All of the kiddos at school are wearing these applique shirts with our team name and colors. After carefully examining them and asking where they picked them up I decided I would try one out. So I went to to Youtube.com to find out how to do it.  LOVE YT. And off to Hancock's with my list. And Voila! I created a onesie for lil Biscuit with her initial on it. I think she might wear it tomorrow with her new jeans. What do you think? It's not bad for my 1st try. I think I will try this again and maybe make MYSELF my own sports team shirt.
